We’re dusting off the old Bären recipes – and yes, we’re currently tasting, sampling and working with great dedication on the perfect meat platter.

In the kitchen, we’re still tasting, comparing and discussing until everything is just right. After all, our Metzgete shouldn’t just be hearty, but exactly as you’d want it to be: substantial, authentic and full of flavour.

From 16 to 29 October 2026, our huts will become the Metzgete Huts Zug.

Look forward to a taste of living tradition, served with a fresh twist in a cosy hut atmosphere right in the heart of Zug.

    with black pudding and liver sausage, Schüblig, spare ribs, bacon, sauerkraut, dried beans, parsley potatoes and apple compote
